197 | Your Message Is Money, Want More Money? with Steve Feld

On this episode of the Mastery Unleashed Podcast, host Christie Ruffino welcomes business strategist and author Steve Feld. Steve shares his entrepreneurial journey—from hustling as a kid to owning seven businesses and turning around four struggling ones. He opens up about the highs (including a million-dollar business sale) and the lows (like the tech bubble crash that wiped out his entire client list in three days).

Steve dives into the importance of messaging clarity, niching down, and building a real business versus just an income stream. He emphasizes why most entrepreneurs struggle: they’re experts in their craft, but not in running a business. The conversation centers on how to make money with your message, attract the right clients, and build sustainability using the “right steps in the right order.”

Steve also discusses the power of coaching and how hiring the right mentor completely transformed his business. He’s now passionate about helping others avoid common mistakes and scale smarter.
